SCHOLARSHIP MAILING & RESPONSE 2010
Mail Box: On January 30, 2010, high school and community college students began to send their Scholarship applications to our NJACAC mail box at:

MAILING of Scholarship – complete package only:
Certified Mail receipts are signed for & returned by post office-tracking #
Overnight Mail or FedX received and acknowledged - tracking #
Regular mail with a stamped post card is returned on 3/7/10 to high school address and/or student address
FAX applications are unacceptable
No individual telephone calls on receipt of mailing envelopes is returned.
The Scholarship Committee meets during the month of March, 2010 to read and obtain the six $1,000.00 Scholarship winners. All applications are fully reviewed 4 times.
WINNERS:
All six winners are notified by mail and school counselor receives phone call.
All six winner names and institutions are listed on web site on April 9, 2010 – www.NJACAC.org
All six winner names are provided to high school principal and school counselor who receive a letter indicating student winner information.
All six winners must return NJACAC information request by May 3, 2009.
All six winners, parents and school counselor are invited to the NJACAC Conference noon luncheon at
the annual NJACAC Spring Conference.
If a winner is unable to attend, the school counselor will be present to acknowledge their winner and accept the NJACAC Scholarship check.
The winner is further acknowledged at their respective Award Assembly at their institution.
The local newspaper is sent a “statement” about the winner’s $1,000.00 NJACAC Scholarship.
The six winner names and institutions will be on the web site listed until June 30, 2010.
NEW 2010 NJACAC Scholarship application will be available on NJACAC.ORG web site on January 6, 2010. The best of good fortune to one and all!
