Job Title: Senior Assistant Dean
Candidate Message:
Through my professional experiences, the common threads that have stuck with me have been building relationships and helping push each other to grow – both on my team as well as in this industry, and in particular, within this organization. I bring with me a “together WE win” mentality that I think resonates with many, especially younger professionals such as myself who are still trying to navigate this position and industry. I’d like to help bridge that gap between younger professionals and more seasoned veterans as we all work together towards our ultimate goal: the best outcomes and opportunities for our students.

Dylan Matthew Klim
Current Place of Employment: Lynn University
Job Title: Admission Counselor
Candidate Message:
NJACAC has allowed me to meet outstanding and knowledgeable higher education professionals from all over the country who work with New Jersey students, attend annual conferences, and become a co-chair for our social media committee. I hope that in my time as a College Representative, I can provide the same kind of opportunities for other members of NJACAC.
If elected, I wish to bridge the gap between admission and high school counselors. As we enter the Test-Optional realm within higher education, it is crucial to join forces from both sides of the desk regardless of our institution or high school profile. I hope to grow the presence of NJACAC within universities and also high schools, with hopes they can use our services as a resource to serve their students better.

I think NJACAC has so much more potential to bring a lot of our committees and processes to a more streamlined program. We have the ability and passionate members to provide outreach to our colleagues on both sides of the desk, and as a college representative, my goal would be to continue to build relationships with our college counselors and come up with programs to benefit both sides while implementing collaboration and inclusivity.

I threw my hat in the ring last year for Secondary School Representative and while it didn’t quite work out in my favor, it has been very rewarding being involved with the Scholarship Committee. Everyone on the NJACAC Executive Committee was nothing short of welcoming and encouraged my involvement in other ways, which was immensely appreciated. I want to continue to grow, learn, and collaborate with my colleagues, so I can better serve my student population and beyond.
