March 10, 2020

Due to concern over COVID-19 (also called novel coronavirus) in New Jersey, Kean University is rescheduling the New Jersey Association for College Admission Counseling (NJACAC) Regional College Fair originally planned for Wednesday, March 11, 2020 to Friday, May 15, 2020. The times will remain from 10 am – 12 pm.

While there are no suspected or confirmed cases of coronavirus at any of Kean’s campuses, our concern for the health and well-being of our current and prospective students, as well as our college and university colleagues, is our top priority.

If you have any questions or concerns, please contact njcollegefairs@njacac.orgexecutive.assistant@njacac.org, or call 973.945.9856.  We look forward to seeing you in May.

With the world carefully watching the evolving news about the coronavirus (COVID-19), NJACAC is working with its local partners to take any and every precaution with regards to our regional college fairs.

NJACAC will take on the lead from each respective local committee with regards to each fair and communicate with you should a fair be postponed or cancelled due to the circumstances around the coronavirus.

We are sure that you are following the prescribed measures, such as frequent hand-washing, use of hand sanitizer, not shaking hands, etc. We are being informed by our scheduled venues that they, too, are following directives for increased cleaning and disinfecting along with other preventative measures.

Our goal is to work with our partners to ensure that while our events are still scheduled to be held, that we have everyone’s health and safety in mind as well as the goal to continue to run successful programming for students.

Please email njcollegefairs@njacac.org if you have any additional questions or need more information.
