Annual Conference
May 21, 2017 - May 22, 2017
During this year’s conference we’ll assess all the change we have seen this year including Prior-Prior Year in Financial Aid (or “Using 2015 taxes in 2017” as anyone who attended last year’s conference would know!), to the redesigned SAT, to the impact of a new administration in Washington, and one coming in Trenton. This year we will also welcome three great speakers to our conference. Kevin Powell will certainly shed insight on education, leadership, and civic engagement at such a critical time in our nation. To close our conference, we will also hear from the Princeton Review’s Rob Franek on many issues facing our profession. Additionally, we will be hosting Tara Lebar, Coordinator of the Affiliates Presidents’ Council and NACAC Board Member, who will bring us news and updates from NACAC to our conference attendees.
The workshop sessions presented at this year’s conference promise to be some of the best we have offered. These interactive sessions will energize attendees with actionable information that can be brought back to our offices.
In addition to our keynotes and sessions, you will have the opportunity to meet with some great organizations in our exhibit hall with vendors who are offering the latest and greatest services in the world of college admission counseling. Our sponsors have also supported our conference through sponsoring various items and events, allowing us to give you the best professional development experience possible!
As always, the NJACAC Annual Conference will offer you an opportunity to meet new colleagues, reconnect with old colleagues and friends, and, of course, have fun! We will have plenty of social and networking opportunities so that everyone can enjoy a great conference. Make sure you use #NJACAC17 to share your NJACAC Annual Conference experience on social media.
