Please thoughtfully consider nominating a colleague or nominating yourself. When reviewing candidates to put forth on the election slate, the Nominations and Elections Committee will focus on individual attributes as well as the collective background of each nominee to bring diversity of expertise, skills, experience, and personal qualities to strengthen the association.
All nominees will be required to provide additional application information (sent directly to the nominee) prior to being considered for placement on the election ballot. All candidates for board positions should be NJACAC voting members.
Candidates for elected offices should have demonstrated commitment to the goals and objectives of NJACAC through involvement in its activities, such as service on one or more committees or membership on the Executive Board. Further, candidates must provide the chair of the Nominations and Elections Committee a written assurance that s/he will attempt to meet the responsibility of the office and term and will have his/her supervisor provide a written statement attesting to the support of candidacy for the nominated position.
Nominees will have until March 4, 2022, to submit their candidate application information.
Any individual who accepts a nomination MUST ATTEND a candidates’ meeting held in March 2022. This meeting will be held virtually, and more details will be sent to potential candidates in the coming weeks.
Please don’t hesitate to contact Laurie Sieminski (Immediate Past-President; Chair, Nominations and Elections Committee) if you have any questions about the available positions or the nomination process. Discussions about the open positions would be confidential.
Again, please consider serving on the Executive Board of this great organization or nominating a colleague for service. It is a rewarding opportunity with an outstanding group of professionals.
