This position’s primary function will be to oversee an international and domestic recruitment territory by serving as a member of the core international recruitment team, evaluating applications and supporting documentation, leading the international interview initiative, and coordinating the development and implementation of the international communications plan. In addition, this position will support the broader work of the enrollment division and its ongoing initiatives by managing essential projects, representing the college virtually, on-campus, and off-campus, collaborating actively with offices throughout the college, and seeking-out leadership opportunities through regional and national enrollment organizations.

Essential Functions:

  • Manage a major international recruitment territory and a minor domestic recruitment territory by cultivating and maintaining relationships with prospective students, parents/guardians, counselors, independent educational consultants, and volunteers.
  • Represent the college by conducting/attending on-campus, off-campus, or virtual: interviews, information sessions, presentations, forums, receptions, open houses, school visits, and college fairs.
  • Travel domestically and internationally on behalf of the college for up to six to eight weeks in the fall and two to three weeks in the spring.
  • Collaborate with the director of international admissions and the enrollment services coordinator to develop and implement a long-term strategy for international student recruitment.
  • Evaluate the applications of international students and US citizens abroad by assisting in the completion of candidate application and financial materials, making admission and scholarship recommendations to the committee, and serving on the admissions committee.
  • Oversee the management of international vendor partners and special international initiatives to included, but not limited to, the student ambassador program, international essay competitions, work with Dickinson’s program and center directors and assistant directors abroad, and the development of other in-country personnel and/or initiatives.
  • Lead the international interview and international programming initiatives.
  • Support the English language proficiency evaluation program.
  • Coordinate and develop an enterprise-level international communications plan in partnership with the admissions communication and systems teams, the director of international recruitment, and the enrollment services coordinator.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Valid Driver’s license
  • This position requires a valid passport and/or the ability to obtain a valid passport for international travel. The passport must be free of any travel limitations or restrictions.
  • A valid Driver’s Licence is required. Employees (operators) must have been in possession of a valid operator’s license for not less than three (3) years and the license must have been in good standing without interruption during that time period.
