The University of Vermont, established in 1791, is located 90 miles south of Montreal between the Adirondack and Green Mountains on the shores of Lake Champlain in Burlington, Vermont. The University of Vermont’s Office of Admissions seeks a Regional Associate Director of Admissions to serve as the university’s primary representative in the state of New Jersey with the potential to also recruit in surrounding states.  The Regional Associate must be able to work independently, have proven leadership ability, proficiency with technology, and strong communication stills.  They must demonstrate a commitment to diversity and multicultural competence and engage in efforts to recruit diverse students to UVM. This professional must have the ability to travel extensively, and work weekend and evening hours. Strong candidates will have a deep understanding of the territory, and will be willing to engage in their regional network. They will review applications and help aid in the yield of admitted students. Residency in the recruitment region is required. Travel back to the University of Vermont’s campus will be required 2-5 times annually.
