Responsibilities:

Represent the University to prospective students and their families, especially those from under-represented groups.  Assist in the recruitment of students eligible for Stockton University’s Equal Opportunity Fund (EOF) program.  Promote the University’s Urban Scholar program.
Attend college fairs/nights and make individual visits to high schools and County Colleges during the fall and spring of each year.
Arrange and conduct individual interviews with students. Organize regional group information sessions for students, parents, and transfer counselors.
Work closely with other University admissions representatives to insure appropriate coverage of college fairs/nights in the area.
Maintain phone, text and email contact with prospective students and provide appropriate follow-up activities as prospects progress from inquiry to enrollment.
Assist with admissions programs including Open House, special events and orientation and registration.
Perform other admissions-related tasks and duties as assigned by the Dean of Enrollment Management, Associate Dean of Enrollment Management or the Vice President for Student Affairs.
Demonstrate, through past accomplishments and actions, the ability to support Stockton University’s diversity commitment and strong student-centered vision and mission.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree minimum.
Must have valid driver’s license and dependable vehicle.

Preferred Qualifications:

Master’s degree preferred.
5 years experience in college admissions, financial aid, high school counseling or teaching preferred.
Strong interpersonal and presentation skills required, experience with Ellucian Banner and Ellucian Recruiter a plus.
Salary commensurate with experience.
