The Office of Undergraduate Admissions is searching for a Program Manager of Communications with a passion for inspiring others to achieve their collegiate goals of becoming a Bearcat. The ideal candidate has the proven ability to implement a multifaceted marketing strategy and produce marketing copy across a wide variety of platforms that will engage various target audiences (such as high school students, transfer students, underrepresented students, family members, educators, etc.).

Responsibilities

  • Work within a team and guide efforts related to content development in emails, web, and social media along with the design and execution of the admissions publication suite.
  • Work with university partners to develop strategies, incorporate best practices, and create communication campaigns.
  • Execute communication plans by prioritizing tasks effectively, creating workflows, and meeting deadlines.
  • Ensure cohesive messaging and branding across all marketing platforms used within the office including web, social media, and print materials.
  • Develop new communication plans as recruitment needs shift and evolve.
  • Conduct regular assessments of email and recruitment efforts and adjust these efforts accordingly.
  • May provide direct supervision to exempt and non-exempt staff responsible for content development in emails, web, and social media along with the design and execution of the admissions publication suite.
  • Using the office’s CRM tool, Technosolutions Slate, analyze data regarding the effectiveness of various communication plans and adjust the plan accordingly.
  • Evaluate applications for admission and make admission decisions within established guidelines.
  • May provide direct supervision to exempt and non-exempt staff responsible for content development in emails, web, and social media along with the design and execution of the admissions publication suite.
  • Meet with prospective students and their parents on the admissions process, academic programs, and campus life.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree with three (3) years’ experience; -OR- Associate’s degree with five (5) years’ experience; -OR- seven (7) years’ experience.
  • Experience must be in marketing, writing, project management, or admissions/recruitment.

Additional Qualifications

  • Prior work with a customer relationship manager (CRM) and the associated communication tool like Technolutions Slate.
  • Knowledge of HTML or other forms of coding
  • Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop

This position will be a professional position paid at an hourly rate.
