| This year, BASICS will be a full-day program sponsored and hosted at Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey in New Brunswick, NJ on Monday, August 14. Breakfast and Lunch will be included. The BASICS Workshop is intended to offer a comprehensive crash-course in college admission counseling for secondary school counselors and college admission representatives with less than 3 years experience, as well as graduate students pursuing college counseling careers. This session will cost $75 and will cover you for membership through August 2024. If you have any questions, please email basics@njacac.org. This summer program will cover many areas for those new (or newer) to the community, with topics including travel, testing, networking, application review, and more!
