Challenges, changes and even chaotic conditions are the “New Norm” in the College Admission Decision Making Process amid the Coronavirus Pandemic. Students and Parents, Secondary School Counselors, College Counselors and College Admission Officers are attempting to navigate through very uncertain times.
How will students and parents learn about and identify their best choice(s) for higher education; how will colleges and universities best tell their “story” to prospective students without in-person contact and live campus visitation(s)?
What will be the important academic information that students submit on their application for admission, and how will colleges and universities best evaluate and assess candidates for their Freshmen Class of 2021?
What channels of communication will be utilized to encourage the accepted student to enroll ? Where is the “playbook” or the guide during these turbulent times ?
