Looking for a database to search for a scholarship or essay contest? Fastweb is a great free site to explore. You will need to register (free) and then place your individual criteria which will then give back a list of matching scholarship possibilities.

NCAA Clearing House

Are you an athlete who plans to play college sports? You will need to register with the NCAA Clearing House before you can play. Registration can be accomplished on-line at this site. Also listed are all qualifying and approved courses at each high school in the country.

Collegeboard

This is one of the better sites to search for a college as well as register for the SAT’s online. Visit the College Board online.

New Jersey Transfer

Are you interesting in finding out which New Jersey community college courses will transfer to any New Jersey four year college or university? Click on the NJ Transfer site where you can type in any specific course to find out the transferability.

NJ Nextstop

NJNextStop.org is a NJ Dept of Labor website that tells you what skills you will need to be in demand in New Jersey industries, including health care, finance, construction, utilities, manufacturing, tourism, transportation and information technology. It’s research focuses on New Jersey industries, but most of the skill and job information applies to occupations wherever they are located.
