Mentorship Program Kickoff

Are you an NJACAC member with 3 or more years of experience in the college counseling and/or admissions field? Are you interested in working with new members of our profession and sharing encouragement, wisdom, and advice? If so, then mentorship is the path for you!

Please join the NJACAC Mentorship committee on June 11th at 11am for a Zoom session where we will discuss what it’s like to be a mentor, a mentee, the goals of the committee, and how you can get involved.

Anyone interested in being mentored should also register for NJACAC’s Basics of College Counseling Workshop in August at Rider University where you’ll be officially paired with your mentor!

When is this happening? Wednesday, June 11th at 11am.

Where is this happening? Zoom Meeting

Who do we want? You! No matter if you are a college admissions representative, a school counselor, or an IEC, as long as you have 3+ years of experience in the field you can become a mentor. If you want to be a mentee, you’re welcome to join us too, but we will have more info for mentees at Basics in August.

What if I can’t make it? That’s okay! Make sure you fill out our interest form to indicate that you’re interested in being a mentor or a mentee. We’d love to have you!

Register here to get the Zoom link for our session.
