Building the School Profile: Research and Resources for Counselors with Making Caring Common

School profiles are essential to the college admission process, as they provide admission officers with critical contextual information about applicants’ high school environments. In this one-hour webinar for school counselors, participants will learn about recent research conducted on the school profile with admission officers and counselors, as well as practical suggestions and concrete tools for building effective school profiles. Participants will have the opportunity to reflect on their own school profiles with their peers--including consideration of strengths and opportunities for improvement.

All participants will review a set of new, free tools for creating the school profile created by Making Caring Common for school counselors.
