You are invited to join us for an upcoming Rainbow Key Interest Meeting for those interested in learning more about this important student-focused program and opportunities to get involved.
Rainbow Key is a free workshop designed for LGBTQIA+ students and their families who are looking to learn more about the college admissions process through a queer-focused lens. The program includes workshops on understanding Financial Aid, navigating Residential Life for queer students, and a Queer Safe College Fair highlighting institutions with strong policies and practices that support and protect LGBTQIA+ and transgender students. The event is open to all high school students and their families, with the goal of creating a space where queer students feel safe, supported, and heard throughout their college admissions journey while providing meaningful resources and connections. This interest meeting will provide an overview of the program, discuss ways members can support and participate, and share leadership and volunteer opportunities.
We are excited to introduce the Rainbow Key co-chairs, Abigail Molos (St. John’s University) and Sierra Romano (Adelphi University), who will share the vision and goals for this year’s program and how members can get involved.
If you are interested in participating, please complete our interest survey.Whether you are interested in leadership, volunteering, or simply learning more about Rainbow Key, we welcome you to join the conversation.
The meeting will take place on February 24th at 1:00pm via zoom, with registration available soon. We hope you can join us!
