Message from the NJACAC President
Hi Members,
Spring has sprung! I don't know about you, but once the sun is shining and I can wear my flip flops, I feel like a new person. And it's happening just in time for all the wonderful things NJACAC has to offer!
There's still time to volunteer with College Key at Montclair State University on April 11. Sign up to share your wealth of knowledge with 10th and 11th graders here.
Free money for college? Yes please! Share the NJACAC Scholarship application with your students who've attended any student facing NACAC event this year. Interested in being on the committee? Email scholarships@njacac.org
Do you know a colleague who goes above and beyond? Someone who makes a difference for students, supports fellow professionals, or shows outstanding commitment to NJACAC? This is a great opportunity to give them the recognition they deserve! Nominations close April 15, submit here.
Professional Development ended their spring series with an amazing in-person event, co-hosted by Bergen Community College, The Transfer Workshop: Ins and Outs of Dual Enrollment. Over 30 professionals gathered for the panel which shared important information for high school counselors, community college partners and four year friends. Major thanks to Casi Kovar and Tori Farley, our PD co-chairs, for all of their hard work!
